Who are singing lessons for?

Hannah’s motto is that music is for everyone. You don’t need previous experience- just the desire to sing.

Students of all ages and abilities are welcome- lessons are tailored to your needs, take into account your learning style and are adapted to your pace.

Lessons for children are geared towards encouraging young students to use their innate musicality, and nurture their love of singing. Hannah is fully CRB (DBS) checked, has public liability insurance and is a licensed First Aider. She has also completed Child Protection Awareness training with the Musicians Union.

Hannah also teaches adults- from complete beginners who would like to grow their confidence (and nail that karaoke song!) to seasoned pros who are preparing for auditions and recording sessions.

Lessons are fun, relaxed and empowering.  You will directly apply technique to your favourite songs, learning in a way that is enjoyable!

Which styles of singing does Hannah teach?

Where do lessons take place?

Lessons take place in Hannah’s studio in Kentish Town which is fully equipped with a range of Microphones, a PA system, synthesiser, Logic Pro recording software and an extensive song library.

Hannah’s studio is conveniently located less than a 3 minute walk from Kentish Town West Overground station and a 10 minute walk from Kentish Town Underground and national rail stations. Local buses also run frequently to most parts of North and Central London. There is free parking available on the street after 6:30pm Monday to Friday and all day on Weekends.

For those who live further afield, or prefer to be taught from the comfort of their own home, Skype Lessons are also available. You will need a good camera and microphone on your device, as well as a strong internet connection. Skype Lessons are recorded and emailed to you after the session.

How much do singing lessons cost?

Singing Lessons are £25 for 30 minutes and £45 for an hour long lesson. For adults, especially beginners, hourly lessons are recommended.

A 10% discount is available when booking a pre-paid package of 6 lessons (£243 instead of £270). This is ideal for those who wish to commit to their progress whilst saving money too.

What are Hannah’s payment/ refund policies?

Payment for each lesson is required at the time of booking- due to high demand for lessons, the industry standard 24 hour cancellation policy applies, so you will get a full refund if you decide to cancel for any reason up until 24 hours before the lesson start time. If less notice is given, lessons are missed, or you are late to your scheduled lesson, the full cost of the lesson will be charged.

Do you do gift vouchers?

Gift vouchers are available for both one hour lessons and for 6 lesson packages at the same rates as above (block booking discounts apply!)

How will I track my progress?

You are encouraged to set goals with Hannah (big or small) to mark your progress. At the end of each lesson you will recap on everything you’ve learnt and be given a short lesson diary to take away with you. An mp3 recording of the lesson can also be provided, which is a great way to track your progress week on week, and remind yourself how far you’ve come!

If desired, ‘homework’ can be set to continue your practice at home. This is completely optional, there is no pressure to practice in between lessons – but you will progress more quickly if you do!
